Applications are invited for the temporary post of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for the Project entitled “Design, Optimisation and Experimental
Investigation of High Speed Turbomachinery Rotor Supported on Gas Foil Bearing..” in the
Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela.

Project title: Design, Optimisation and Experimental Investigation of High Speed Turbomachinery Rotor Supported on Gas Foil Bearing

Essential Qualifications: M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design)

Desirable Requirements: Working experience in Matlab, SolidWorks and basic
understanding of vibration, bearings and rotordynamics

Project Duration: 3 years

Stipend: INR 31,000/- per month 1st  and 2nd  year and  INR 35,000/- per month in 3rd  year
