The Network Security team is looking for security operations engineer with a passion for solving network challenges with code, creating security centric design and driving optimizations with data and analytics.Â
Responsibilities of Network Security Engineer:
Key Position responsibilities include:
-Ability to approach challenges with a pro-active and engineering principled mindset
-Responsible for monitoring, incident investigation, management and automating operations of an enterprise scale implementation of varied network services
-Managing operational health of the platforms, troubleshooting and ensuring the coverage and completeness of the network
-To conduct standard deployments and upgrades in conjunction with change management policies and procedures with due-diligence
-Implementing, improving, and operating network health and welfare data collection, monitoring, and alerting systems
-Monitor systems/platforms for potential threats and act as a first responder during active network related incidents
-Drive the quality of the service delivery based on data-driven analytics
Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications:
-BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical certifications
-Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with routing (BGP and OSPF) and switching in an enterprise environment
-Demonstratable experience with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and F5 product lines
-Experience/certifications related to Azure fundamentals
-Experience with coding/scripting, especially with Python, Terraform, ARM, Bicep
-Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
-Cisco CCNA/Security certifications
Ideal candidates would also have:
-Cisco CCNP
-CISSP
-AZ500, AZ700, AZ900 certifications
-Experience in SIEM and/or enterprise log management
-Solid understanding of various attack methods ranging from DDoS, Exploits, Malware, etc.…
-Previous experience working as a network analyst or network security analyst in a network or security operations center

-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong team player who enjoys a fast-paced atmosphere
-Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and workloads
