HEST is India’s largest Higher Education Scholarship Test where students from top colleges compete to win scholarships to fund their study abroad. The platform helps study abroad aspirants to arrange finance through scholarships and education loans. It provides content with the universities and its related and necessary information for the students to make the process informed.
HEST is powered by WeMakeScholars, an organization funded & supported by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India under the ‘Digital India’ campaign.
HEST 2024 revamps after receiving a tremendous response with over 10,000+ applicants for the HEST 2023, conducted last year. The total scholarship fund allocated for this HEST season is 2 Crore, with each scholarship of upto 3 lacs. The exact value of each scholarship depends on the quality and quantity of scholarship applications received in that particular season.
