| Scholarships are being awarded to the wards of serving Army personnel studying in Govt/Private recognised educational institutions from IX to PG level of education provided the wards have not attained 25 years of age before completion of the class. |
| Based on Cut-off percentages of marks decided every year during Annual General Meeting of ESSA for all classes and categories of personnel. |
| Merit certificates are also awarded alongwith the scholarships. |

| Wards of Non BC Cases / ESM. |
| Education scholarship is entitled to the wards of ex-servicemen / widows @ Rs 1000/- per child p.m for school level and Rs 15000/- p.a for Graduation through Rajya Sainik Board in term of Kendriya Sainik Board letter No 119/FSB/RMDF/B/2011 dt 17 Nov 2011. (A serving soldier is entitled to CEA @ Rs 1250/- per child per month). |
