HDFC has launched a new class 12 passed general/disabled scholarship. Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24 is an initiative of the H T Parekh Foundation that aims to help high-performing students from lesser privileged backgrounds overcome financial barriers and successfully pursue their education. The scholarship fund is specifically dedicated to covering various academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees, learning devices or aids, books, stationery, and more. Last Date of Scholarship is 20th November 2023.
For general students:
Eligibility :
Open to students who have completed Class 12 and are currently pursuing general graduation courses such as BCom, BSc, BA, etc. from recognized colleges or universities in India.
Applicants must have scored at least 70% marks in their previous class or board exams.
The annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6 lakh from all sources.
Students from Pan-India are eligible to apply.
Note:
Preference will be given to girl students and existing Badhte Kadam scholars for the years 2021-22 and 2022-23.
Priority will be given to students experiencing crises, such as the loss of a parent/both parents or a terminal illness in the family.
Benefits: INR 30,000
For Graduation students:
Eligibility :
Open to students who have completed Class 12 and are currently pursuing professional graduation courses such as B.Tech., MBBS, B.Arch, Nursing, BA-LLB, Fashion, BBA, BCA, etc. from recognized colleges or universities in India.
Applicants must have scored at least 70% marks in their previous class or board exams.
The annual family income of applicants should not exceed INR 6 lakh from all sources.
Students from Pan-India are eligible to apply.

For Disabled:
Eligibility :
Open for students with disabilities, having a disability level of more than 40% and a valid disability certificate.
Students must be pursuing general or professional graduation courses from recognized colleges/universities in India.
Applicants must have obtained at least 60% marks in the previous class or board exams.
The annual family income of applicants should be below INR 6 lakh from all sources.
Students from Pan-India are eligible to apply.
