ISRO has invited applications from government officials, professionals and students for a free online training on Bhuvan portal utilization
ISRO has invited applications for a three-day free online training on Bhuvan portal utilization. The webinar and training session is being offered by the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) a unit of the Indian Space Research Organisation. The webinar based training is offered on Bhuvan visualization, services and collaborative applications. The training will be held online from 12 to 14 July 2022. Interested participants will have to register for the program before 4 July 2022. The course comprises of an overview of all the functionalities on Bhuvan like visualisation, data download, services provided, map services, crowd sourcing, applications, and API.
About the ISRO Bhuvan Portal
Bhuvan is a Geoportal platform of ISRO, which hosts a wide range of services spanning visualization of satellite data, thematic maps, query and analysis, free data downloads and products, near real-time disaster services, apps for crowdsourcing, and diverse geospatial applications. It also supports the ministries with G-Governance applications. Recently, ISRO also launched Bhuvan wiki, which is a web application designed for publishing information and engaging Bhuvan users for sharing and contributing their knowledge to other users.
