The University of Bristol offers the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship 2024 to Indian students pursuing a one-year full-time taught Master’s program or one of the two eligible two-year programs: MSc Social Work and MA Law. The University will contact successful applicants on or before May 24th, 2024, and the deadline for the scholarship application is April 29th, 2024.
To be eligible for the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be Indian nationals or nationals of specified countries.
- Have applied to a one-year full-time taught master’s degree program offered by the University of Bristol, including the eligible two-year programs: MSc Social Work and MA Law.
- Plan to start their master’s degree program in September 2024.
- Be classified as overseas students for fee purposes.
Applicants cannot already be receiving other funding that, combined with a Bristol scholarship, would cover the full cost of tuition fees.
Selected students will receive £6,500, £13,000, or £26,000 per annum. Some students may also be eligible for a £3,000 living cost bursary during their first year of study.
Documents required for the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship include academic transcripts, a copy of the passport (if applicable), and residency proof (if applicable).
The scholarship committee will award the benefits as a tuition fee discount and they are non-transferable. If a scholarship award exceeds tuition fees, it will cover the full cost of tuition, and the committee will not disburse any remaining scholarship funds.
Scholarships are provided as tuition fee discounts. Due to UK Visas and Immigration regulations, students must demonstrate sufficient funds to cover remaining tuition fees and living expenses to obtain a visa for entering the UK.
