Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, an Institute of National Importance, has announced Admission to M Tech and Ph D Programmes for Odd (July) Semester of the Academic Year 2022-23. The admission are available for its Centres, Energy Institutes, Bengaluru & Aei, Sivasagar.
MTech Financial assistance in the form of Institute Assistantships is available to the students admitted to M. Tech. programme under Full Time Regular Registration Category. Presently the assistantships @ Rs. 12,400/- per month (for GATE qualified) is available.
PhD: Financial Assistance in the form of Institute Assistantship is available to the students admitted to Ph.D. programmes under Full Time Regular Registration Category.
Such students should satisfy at least one of the following;
Qualified GATE Examination
Obtained Postgraduate/M.Tech. degree from Centrally funded technical Institute and secured a final CPI of 8.0 or above.
The students will receive the following monthly fellowship;
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 35000/-
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 40000/-

Last date of submission of application – July 03, 2022 at 2400 hrs. (Sunday)
Last date for notification of shortlisted candidates to be called for interview on admission portal – July 07, 2022 (Thursday)
Date of Written Test and/or Interview July 11-12, 2022 (Monday-Tuesday)
MTech Admission Types: A candidate may apply for any of the four categories of registration as described below, subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria: (i) requisite qualification (Table 1A, Annexure I) and (ii) secured a minimum of 60% marks/6.0 CPI on a 10 point scale in the qualifying degree.
