NSP Ministry of Home Affairs Scholarship 2024 is available for people who are children of the Indian army and other defense forces available in India. Sometimes because of the frequent promotion and position of the defense personnel, it is very difficult for children to continue their education in prestigious Universities and colleges across India. Hence, these types of schemes are prevalent in India to help children to get an education. The students can apply for these scholarships by visiting the official website of the national scholarship portal and then they can submit the application form for the scholarship of their choice. You must fulfill the eligibility criteria presented by the organization to apply for the NSP Ministry of Home Affairs Scholarship 2024. This scholarship is only available for the people who are legally children of defense personnel in India.
About Ministry of NSP Ministry of Home Affairs Department
The Ministry of NSP Ministry of Home Affairs Department is created to help the people who are children of army personnel available in India and this is also created to help the families of defense personnel. People will be eligible to apply for the different types of welfare schemes available by the Ministry through the national scholarship portal and they will be eligible to get financial assistance. Students can fill out the application form for NSP Ministry of Home Affairs Scholarship 2024 by visiting the official website of NSP and they will be eligible to get financial assistance directly into their bank accounts. The parents of the children must be in the Indian army or any other defense force available in India in order to be eligible for the welfare scheme. Children must provide all of the documents to prove that they are the children of defense personnel.
Type of Government Scholarship Under NSP Ministry of Home AffairsÂ
The following types of scholarships are available from the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Government of India:
Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles
The Prime Minister of India will be providing financial benefits to all of the people who are legal children of police forces appointed by the central government so that they can continue their education without any financial difficulty. The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries and the beneficiaries will be able to use that financial assistance to continue their education in higher institutes under Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles. Students will have to utilize the financial assistance in order to continue their education.
PRIME MINISTER’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR WARDS OF STATES/UTs POLICE PERSONNEL
PRIME MINISTER’S SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR WARDS OF STATES/UTs POLICE PERSONNEL is available by the central government in order to help the people who are children of state and union territory police personnel. The children will be provided 2500 if they are male and 3000 if they are female and also other financial assistance will be provided annually. Students can use these grants in order to continue their education in India.
Eligibility Criteria
Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles
For CAPFs & Assam Rifles
- Wards/widows of deceased CII) CAPFs & AR personnel died in harness/election duty, wards of personnel disabled due to causes attributable to Government service, and Wards of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
- Wards/widows of retired and serving CAPFs & AR Personnel. (Personnel below Officer Rank) Pursuing first professional degree program in Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA and MCA, etc. under the guidelines.
- Having a minimum of 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent in case of a new applicant.
Or
- For applicants applying under the renewal category, it is mandatory to pass each subsequent academic year of the professional courses being pursued by them with a minimum of 50% marks.
- A grace period of one year only for cases, where there is a delay on the part of the candidate for application submission for renewal of scholarship may be entertained.
For State Police Forces
Dependent wards of States/UTs Police Personnel who are martyred during Terror/ Naxal attacks are eligible under this category subject to the following):-
- Pursuing my first professional degree program in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA and MCA, etc.Â
- Having a minimum of 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent in case of a new applicant.
Or
- For applicants applying under the renewal category, it is mandatory to pass each subsequent academic year of the professional courses being pursued by them with a minimum of 50% marks.
