IIT Madras offers 12 weeks free online course on Machine Learning.

IIT Madras is offering a free online course on Machine Learning. In this course they intend to introduce some of the basic concepts of machine learning from a mathematically well motivated perspective. They will cover the different learning paradigms and some of the more popular algorithms and architectures used in each of these paradigms. 

Who Can Apply?

• Undergraduates & Postgraduates can apply for this course.
• BE/ME/MS/PhD 

If the students have done introductory courses on probability theory and linear algebra it would be helpful. They will review some of the basic topics in the first two weeks as well. Any company in the data analytics/data science/big data domain would value this course.

This course will be conducted in English and Tamil.

Duration: 12 weeks Start Date: 24 Jan 2022 End Date: 15 April 2022

The course is free to enroll and learn from. But if you want a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by them in person at any of the designated exam centers. The exam is optional for a fee of Rs 1000/-
