IIT JAM 2024 Syllabus is out.
Every year, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) conduct the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) as a common admission test for various post-graduate science programs, including Master of Science (M.Sc.). The responsibility for organizing JAM alternates among these institutions, and this practice has been in place since 2004. The 2021 edition of JAM was overseen by the Indian Institute of Science, while the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee organized JAM 2022. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati was the Organizing Institute for JAM 2023. Indian Institute of Technology Madras is the Organizing Institute for JAM 2024.
Eligibility:
As of 2022, to be eligible for the JAM Exam, you need to possess a bachelor’s degree, and there is no requirement for a specific percentage. Foreign candidates can also apply for the JAM Exam if they meet the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs) specified by the Admitting Institute after obtaining a qualifying degree.
