Strate School of Design offers specialisations in Product Design, Transportation Design, Interaction Design, and Visual Communication & Brand Identity.

Programs Offered by Strate School of Design

Strate School of Design is offering admissions to a range of programs. For those seeking an undergraduate degree, Strate offers a 3-year Bachelor of Science in Design (B.Sc.) program and a more in-depth 4-year Bachelor of Science Honours in Design (B.Sc. Hons.) program. If you already hold a Bachelor’s degree and are interested in pursuing further design studies, Strate offers a 2-year Master of Science in Design (M.Sc.) program. Additionally, there is a comprehensive 5-year Integrated program that combines both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Design.

Admission Process and Requirements

Prospective students must undertake the Strate Admission Test (SAT) as part of the admission process. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website: www.strate.in. B.Sc in Design (3 years)

• Passed 10th with more than 50% marks
• Passed 10+2 with more than 50% marks

B.Sc Hons in Design (4 years)

• Passed 10th with more than 50% marks
• Passed 10+2 with more than 50% marks

Integrated (B.Sc. + M.Sc.) in Design (5 years)

• Passed 10th with more than 50% marks
• Passed 10+2 with more than 50% marks
• Passed Graduation with more than 50% marks (Graduation in any stream is eligible)

M.Sc in Design (2 years)

• Passed 10th with more than 50% marks
• Passed 10+2 with more than 50% marks
• Passed Graduation with more than 50% marks (Graduation in any stream is eligible)

Seat Availability for Admission

The seat availability across all specialisations for the various programs is as follows:

• B.Sc in Design (3 years): 80 seats
• B.Sc Hons in Design (4 years): 80 seats
• Integrated (B.Sc. + M.Sc.) in Design (5 years): 40 seats
• M.Sc in Design (2 years): 40 seats

Fee Structure

The fee structure for different programs across the various specialisations is Rs. 6.3 Lakh per year for all the programs offered by Strate.

Selection Process

The selection process at Strate is highly competitive and merit-based, with admission decisions primarily based on candidates’ performance in the entrance examinations conducted by Jain University, the partner of Strate Bangalore, through the Strate Admission Test (SAT).
