Overview:
Assistant Manager Content Marketing: To develop a product/s strategy with the aim to reach, entertain and engage the millennial consumer, in a converged media landscape. As a product marketing manager, you will be managing a group of channels and will take part in creating a complete product experience across linear television and digital platforms. \
Requirements of Assistant Manager Content Marketing:
- Drive brand communication and marketing for Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC, Eurosport and a vertical of discovery+ original shows across different media vehicles – ATL, Digital, On-ground, Partnerships, Barters etc
- Develop breakthrough integrated marketing strategies and promotion concepts for series, specials, and key genres that support the product/s and key target insight.
- Work on existing brand properties as well as design new marketing initiatives or partnerships that enable exponential subscriber growth and brand building
- Work with design and production teams to manage creative communication across partners platforms and in-app promotions
- Manage internal, agency and other external relationships to run campaigns across platforms and mediums
- Work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, where multitasking while maintaining quality and attention to detail are the norm
- Work with internal and external teams and agencies to identify and prioritize requirements for product growth roadmap
- Develop off-network promotion, media strategy and execution for key network initiatives
- Initiate/use consumer research to identify audience targets and relevant insights for positioning strategy and creative brief
- Brief internal and external creative teams to provide collateral material, off air creative, etc. that supports marketing and brand strategy
- Drive on ground consumer connect activities to create consumer awareness and subsequent conversion to subscription
- Planning and execution for all market activation initiatives
- Understand consumption trends, customer research and continuously evaluate competition and build counter plans
- Prepare Product/Roadshow/Monthly presentations for Revenue Teams and drive ad sales trade as and when needed
- Lead vendors and agencies to partner in the development and execution of creative strategies across platforms
- Own day-to-day communications to efficiently deploy campaigns

Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of work experience
- Brand enthusiast and consumer centric mindset
- Proficiency with digital marketing, working in a dynamic landscape
- Demonstrated expertise with marketing concepts, creative development processes (working in print, outdoor, radio, TV, collateral, and more), marketing effectiveness/ROI, new product/business development and project management
- Direct experience in the consumer discipline, direct marketing, consumer promotion, and entertainment industry is a plus
- Ability to formulate creative strategies, strategically assess executional options, think creatively and provide detailed follow-through on campaigns is required
