An online Interview is scheduled to be held on 17.05.2021 for the recruitment of Young Professionals under the institute project.
The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute(CMFRI) was established by the Government of India on 3 February 1947 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and later, in 1967, it joined the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) family and emerged as a leading tropical marine fisheries research institute in the world.

- Essential Qualifications: Graduates in Statistics/Computer Science/ Mathematics
- Desirable Experiences:
- Experience in marine fishery data management and computer programming
- Working knowledge in Database Management Systems
- M.Sc. in Statistics/Agrl. Statistics
- Emoluments: Rs. 25000/- (Consolidated Emoluments as per revised ICAR guidelines)
2. Young Professional-II
- No. of Posts: 01
- Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate in Fisheries/ Applied Fisheries & Aquaculture
- Desirable Experiences:
- Experience in fish species identification.
- One year experience in marine fisheries data handling and database management.
- Emoluments: Rs. 35000/- (Consolidated Emoluments as per revised ICAR guidelines)
Nature and Duration of the Post
Purely on a contract basis for a period of one year from the date of joining.
Age Limit
Age should not be more than 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates) as on the date of the interview.

- The competent authority has the right to terminate without assigning any reason at any time.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.
