Scope of Work for the Consultant Job

As a Consultant, Social Mobilizer, you will spearhead the implementation of our Girls’ Education Program (GEP) in Dehradun District. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Planning and executing program activities with GEP participants.
2. Ensuring regular attendance and engagement through follow-up sessions.
3. Conducting life skills and mentoring sessions within specified deadlines.
4. Facilitating grade transitions and minimizing dropouts.
5. Organizing interactive activities like ‘Gupshup’ to foster community engagement.
6. Conducting home visits and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
7. Providing support to at-risk students to prevent dropout cases.
8. Collaborating with school administration and motivating teachers to sustain program activities.
9. Documenting program progress through reports and case studies.
10. Engaging parents, school management committees, and teachers through workshops and meetings.
11. Identifying stakeholders and sharing best practices to enhance program effectiveness.
12. Building networks and referral services to support girls’ education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or social sciences required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in education or development sector.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and the local language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in remote areas.
• Passion for social impact and innovative problem-solving.
