DRDO Invites Applications for 62 New Apprenticeship Training Positions

DRDO has announced 62 new apprentice positions at its centre the Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) in New Delhi.

DRDO is currently accepting applications from graduates for 62 new apprenticeship training positions available at the Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) in New Delhi. SSPL is a centre of the Defence Research and Development Organization involved in the field of solid state materials, devices and sub-systems. Those selected will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year under Apprenticeship Amendment Act 1973, and will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 8000.

Who Can Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship?

The latest DRDO apprenticeship notification says that there are 62 new apprentice vacancies for which diploma holders in engineering from the following streams can apply:

Mechanical diploma 10

Electronics engineering 15

Electrical engineering 15

Computer science 10

Library science 2

MOP English and Hindi 10

Only diploma holders who have passed out in the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 can apply for the apprenticeship training positions.

How to Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship?

Interested and eligible candidates will have to submit online applications on the MHRDNATS portal before 10 June 2022. The process to enrol on the platform, and apply for the vacancies are as follows:

Clicking on enroll.

Completing the application form.

A unique enrolment number for each student will be generated.

Applicants will have to wait for at least one day for enrollment verification and approval. Upon receiving the enrollment number, applicants will have to submit applications for MESCOM before 25 June 2022 by taking the following steps:

Login.

Click Establishment Request Menu.

Click Find Establishment.

Upload Resume.

Choose Establishment nameType Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) and search.

Click apply.

Click apply again.
