DRDO or Defence Research and Development Organization is hiring ECE Electronics and Other Engineers. Candidates who get selected through the recruitment process will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.37,000/- along with House Rent Allowance and medical facilities as per the norms.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the premier agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in Ministry of Defence of the Government of India, charged with the military’s research and development, headquartered in Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production of the Indian Ordnance Factories with the Defence Science Organisation under the administration of Jawaharlal Nehru. Subsequently, Defence Research & Development Service (DRDS) was constituted in 1979 as a service of Group ‘A’ Officers / Scientists directly under the administrative control of Ministry of Defence.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the JRF position.
- Graduate degree (B.E./ B.Tech) in the relevant discipline and a valid NET/GATE score.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree (ME/M.Tech/MS) in the relevant discipline with first-division marks in both graduate and postgraduate studies are also eligible to apply.
- The maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years as of the date of the interview, with relaxations applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories.
