COGNITE ISA Admission Cum Scholarship Test: Apply Now

ISA commits to quality education. To identify their next set of talent, they will conduct their annual admission cum scholarship test, COGNITE – Igniting the Cognition! The aim of the screening test is to identify the budding stars and shape them to be future marvels by providing them quality and affordable coaching. Eligibility for the COGNITE ISA Admission Cum Scholarship Test includes students from Class V to XII of the academic session 2023-24. The registration fee is Rs. 200.

The exam patterns for the COGNITE ISA Admission Cum Scholarship Test are as follows:

FOR CLASS VI and VII:

  • Question Type: Objective
  • Total number of Questions: 80
  • Full Marks: 320
  • Time: 90 Minutes
  • Part 1: Mental ability: 20
  • Part 2: (a) Science 20 (b) Math 20 (c) English 20

CLASS VIII, IX, and X:

  • Question Type: Objective
  • Total number of Questions: 90
  • Full Marks: 360
  • Time: 90 Minutes
  • Part 1: Mental ability: 20
  • Part 2: (a) Physics 10 (b) Chemistry 10 (c) Biology 10 (d) Math 20 (e) English 10

FOR CLASS XI and XII:

  • Question Type: Objective
  • Total number of Questions: 60
  • Full Marks: 300
  • Time: 90 Minutes
  • PCM: (a) Physics 20 (b) Chemistry 20 (c) Math 20
  • PCB: (a) Physics 20 (b) Chemistry 20 (c) Biology 20

Key Points:

  1. All questions will be of the multiple-choice question (MCQ) pattern.
  2. Each question will carry 4 marks.
  3. Every correct answer will fetch 4 marks, and there will be a negative 1 mark for every incorrect answer.

The syllabus of the COGNITE ISA Admission Cum Scholarship Test covers material from previous years. The objective of the test is to evaluate fundamental concepts across all subjects and ascertain the aptitude of the student. For Classes V to IX, subjects include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Mental Ability. For Classes X and XI, subjects include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

  • 90% & above: 90% Certificate & Gift
  • 80-89%: 60% Certificate & Gift
  • 70-79%: 30% Certificate
  • 50-69%: 15% Certificate
  • 40-49%: 10% Certificate

Fee Waiver & Concession – Other Categories:

  • 25% Tuition fees waiver for physically challenged students (40% permanent disability)
  • 25% Tuition fees waiver to children of widows (Defence/Police)
  • 20% Tuition fees waiver to children of disabled Defence/Police personnel)
  • 15% Tuition fees concession for siblings (existing as well as ex-students)
  • 15% Tuition fees concession for Defence/Police personnel.

OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS (On the basis of scholastic Achievements):

  • EXAM SCORE SCHOLARSHIP ON TUITION FEES
  • 95% Above in X, XI: 20%
  • 90 to 95% in X, XI: 15%

Terms & Conditions of COGNITE Scholarship Test include:

  • A student needs to score 30% to qualify for admission.
  • COGNITE test dates might change in case of an adverse situation. In such cases, all applicants will be informed about the revised dates in advance.
  • No student can appear for the test more than once during an academic year.
  • Scholarship is valid for a year and can be availed through reduction in tuition fees or any suitable program as decided by the management (if required).
  • Relevant documents should be produced to claim scholarships/waivers.
  • If any student qualifies under more than one scholarship/waiver, they will be eligible for only the highest one.

Registration for the COGNITE ISA Admission Cum Scholarship Test includes:

  • Application form needs to be collected from the ISA office and submitted back after duly filling it along with the exam fee.
  • Application form can be submitted in person or through post.
  • Admit card will be issued and dispatched based on the preferred mode.
  • E-application along with exam fee to be deposited at the ISA office.
