About the Fellowship
Universities are envisioned as hubs for creating and nurturing knowledge within a liberal ecosystem. However, higher education institutions often struggle with openness, being restricted to members only. National Law University Delhi seeks to address this through the Research Affiliation Programme (RAP), designed to bridge the gap between legal academia and practitioners engaging with the law outside the University.
Research Affiliation Programme (RAP)
The Research Affiliation Programme is an initiative by National Law University Delhi to invite individuals who work with the law in various capacities to engage with legal academia. This program aims to benefit the University by incorporating diverse perspectives and experiences into academic discourse, fostering legal scholarship of the highest standards.
Eklavya Programme: Identifying ‘Research Affiliates’
Through the Eklavya programme, National Law University Delhi aims to identify ‘Research Affiliates’ who can contribute to high-quality legal scholarship. The programme is open to individuals with significant engagement with the law, regardless of whether they hold a traditional law degree or practice law in the conventional sense. National Law University Delhi values interdisciplinary perspectives and seeks to draw from a wide pool of talent.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: At least three years of demonstrable experience working on issues with significant legal interfaces.
- Education: A minimum of three years must have passed since the completion of the undergraduate degree.
- Employment: Full-time or part-time employees must obtain approval from their organization to participate. Self-employed individuals, freelancers, or independent consultants must provide a declaration to that effect.
These are initial eligibility conditions; further criteria will be applied for shortlisting candidates.
