IIT Madras accepts applications for MS Entrepreneurship Program from Graduates and Postgraduates. Selected scholars will be guided to systematically and diligently discover entrepreneurial opportunities and formally establish their start-ups via an effective combination of taught courses, intense research supported by astute supervision, and mentorship by highly accomplished entrepreneurs and others of the start-up ecosystem.
Application Process:
- Students apply against a call for admission against specific projects as listed in the application process
- Applications are screened based on the responses and candidates are called for interview
- Interview is done by the committee consisting of a panel of faculty members, including the faculty who proposed the idea
- Students selected from the interview are recommend for admission to the MS(E) program subject to availability of seats
- Host department will be the department of the main guide (project proposer)
- Students will complete recommended courses by the Graduate Test Committee (GTC) and as recommended by the guide
- Students will submit a business development thesis, recommended and approved by the GTC for award of the degree

- Apply to the MS in Entrepreneurship program on the IIT Madras Research Admissions Portal, indicating your selection(s)

- Applicants meeting the shortlisted criteria will be called for an interview.
