Udhyam Vyapaar supports nano businesses in India, addressing significant challenges at scale. This program has already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for over 5,000 entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurial Mindset Program (Schools & ITIs)

Ankuram Business Innovators Pilot Program
The Ankuram Business Innovators pilot program was successfully rolled out across Telangana, covering 8 districts and 35 schools last year. This program focuses on developing entrepreneurial mindsets in students through an experiential and project-based curriculum. Integrated into school timetables and facilitated by teachers, the program will expand to over 400 schools across all 33 districts of Telangana in the 2024-25 academic year.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Mentor Teacher (MT) Support: Assist MTs in the district.
- Data Management: Collect, analyze, and provide data inputs as needed.
- Program Monitoring: Ensure smooth program execution through regular follow-ups and field visits.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address ground-level issues to maintain program quality.
- Reporting: Report to the Specialist (Operations) weekly and share updates with district officials monthly, pending Udhyam team approval.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with DEOs/Regional Inspectors.
- Documentation: Maintain records of district activities.
- Flexibility: Step into MT roles and solve problems as needed.
Skills, Experience, and Mindsets for the Management/Social Sciences Job Role
- Education: Graduation or equivalent in Management Studies or Social Sciences preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in large-scale educational/skill development projects; experience with government projects preferred.
- Skills: Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Residency: Resident/native of Telangana.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in Telugu and functional proficiency in English.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with online meeting applications (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams) and poster creation.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within districts as required.
