National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, is hiring Faculty Posts by 25 March, 2024.

NIBM was established on September 24, 1969, by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in consultation with the Government of India (GoI), as an autonomous apex institution for research, training, education and consultancy in Bank Management. Its mandate is to play a proactive role of “think-tank” of the banking system. NIBM is part of the grand vision of giving a new direction to the banking industry in India and making the same a more cost-effective instrument for national development.

It is a premier apex Institution for research, training, education, and consultancy in banking and finance, has announced recruitment of faculty posts.

The Institute invites applications for Faculty Positions (On Contract Basis) from industry experts/ professionals in various areas of specialization:

1. Credit Management /Monitoring
2. Risk Management
3. Leadership and Organisational Behaviour
4. Compliance and Audit
5. Trade Finance

Eligibility Norms for Hiring Faculty Posts

1. Applicants are expected to have a very sound academic record with Master’s degree or equivalent. This in a relevant area from a recognized University/Institute. Also, applicants must have relevant specializations or industry experience at the senior managerial/executive level in the area/position for which they apply.
2. Applicants who are currently working or have superannuated, not below the rank of the General Manager or equivalent in Banks/Financial Institutions only need to apply.
3. Applicants should be not more than 62 years of age as on the last date of application. Preference will be given to bankers/executives from Financial Institutions who have retired/superannuated after March 2023.
4. The appointment of Faculty positions will be on a contract basis and the remuneration will be as per Institute’s norms. However, for candidates selected on deputation, the remuneration will be as per the norms applicable in their parent organization. Applicants desirous of working on deputation must apply through the proper channel only.
