IIT Delhi or Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is inviting applications for IIT Delhi Summer Fellowship. This will be under the field of research for the year 2024.
IIT Delhi, officially the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is a public institute of technology located in Delhi, India. It is one of the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology created to be Centre of Excellence for India’s training, research and development in science, engineering and technology.
About the IIT Delhi Summer Fellowship
The Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship at IIT Delhi provides a platform for exceptionally qualified students to undertake research projects during their 8-12 weeks fellowship. The institute provides extensive support to select candidates like
- Travel allowance– The fellowship will cover the cost of travel within the country, specifically by Train-Sleeper class, to and from IIT Delhi.
- Accommodation– Students will be provided with accommodation within the institute’s hotels.
- Financial assistance– A weekly amount of INR. 500 will be granted to the fellows to support their expenses during the research period.
Eligibility:
IIT Delhi has set simple eligibility criteria to enroll under the fellowship program. Any undergraduate student, except those enrolled in IITs, who have a minimum of two years of study towards an engineering degree and upholds a position within the top ten ranks in their respective programs is eligible to apply for this fellowship.
