Job Responsibilities for Bitoechnology Consultant-IP
Conduct IP searches and analysis, including patentability, FTO, and Patent Landscape. Manage IP aspects, including examination, drafting, and coordination with Law Firms. Support BIRAC’s PATH Scheme and handle matters related to plant variety protection. Offer opinions and advice on IP matters and fulfill other assigned tasks. Maintain confidentiality of Confidential Information in all forums.
Education Qualification & Experience
Essential:
Hold an MSc/M Tech in life sciences/Bio Technology/Pharma/Agri/Plant sciences. Be a registered Indian Patent Agent.
Desirable Qualification for Biotechnology Consultant-IP Role
Possess a PhD in relevant fields or a degree/diploma in Law or Intellectual Property. Experience:
Have 3-10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in providing IP services to government entities.
