All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur is a public medical school located in the Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India and one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences. It is one of the four “Phase-IV” All India Institutes of Medical Sciences announced in July 2014.
1. Professor Cum Principal College of Nursing
- No. of Post: 1.
- Category: 1-UR.
- Pay Scale: Leval-13 of the Pay Matrix (123100- 215900).
- Age: 55 Years.
- Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with advanced specialization in Nursing.
- Must be registered Nurse and Midwife.
- Experience: 10 years experience in Nursing field after registration as Nurse, out which seven years must have been spent in nursing education or administration after obtaining the prescribed post graduate qualification.
2. Associate Professor (Reader) in Nursing
- No. of Post: 2.
- Category: 2-UR.
- Pay Scale: Leval-12 of the Pay Matrix (78800-209200).
- Age: 50 Years.
- Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution/ University.
- Registered Nurse and Midwife.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in Nursing.
- Experience: Eight years experience after M. Sc (Nursing) including 05(five) years teaching experience.
3. Assistant Professor /Lecturer in Nursing
- No. of Post: 3.
- Category: 3-UR.
- Pay Scale: Leval-11 of the Pay Matrix (67700-208700).
- Age: 50 Years.
- Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution/University.
- Registered Nurse and Midwife.
- Experience: Five years experience with a minimum of two years teaching experience in Nursing.
4. Tutor /Clinical Instructor
- No. of Post: 17.
- Category: 9-UR, 4-OBC, 2-SC, 1-ST, 1-EWS.
- Pay Scale: Leval-10 of the Pay Matrix (56100-177500).
- Age: 35 Years.
- Age relaxation to other categories of the candidates will also be applicable as per the DoPT instructions.
- Age Relaxation permissible: SC/ST: 05 Years; OBC: 03 Years; PwBD: 10 Years; Government Servant (As per DoPT instruction): 05 Years; Ex-Serviceman: 05 Years.
- Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing/Post B. Sc. nursing Degree from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/University.
- Registered Nurse/ Midwife in Nursing Council.
- Experience: Three years experience in a Teaching Institution.

- The online registration of application will be made available on AIIMS, Gorakhpur official website i.e. www.aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in.
- The hard copy of the on-line application has to be sent along with self-attested copies of certificates/documents in support of fulfilling the essential criteria of age, educational qualification, experience etc. besides others in support of their candidature within 15 days from the last date of online application.

- The applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 3000/- (for General & OBC candidates) and Rs. 200/- (for SC/ST/Women/EWS Candidates). There is no fee for PWD candidates.
