ABOUT NTA

The Government of India (GoI), through the Ministry of Education (MoE), established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860). NTA conducts efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions. Its mission is to improve equity and quality in education by developing and administering research-based valid, reliable, efficient, transparent, fair, and international level assessments.

NTA has created a system that promotes teaching by teachers, learning by students, and assessment by parents and institutions. NTA strongly believes in the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, equity, and security of assessments. To practice these values, NTA constantly engages with its stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, experts, and partner institutions.

ABOUT CUET PG EXAM

The authorities have introduced the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG – 2024) for admitting students to various PG Programs in Central and State Universities/Institutions, as well as participating Deemed/Private universities/institutions for the academic session 2024-25. CUET will offer a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates nationwide, particularly those from rural and remote areas, and will facilitate better connectivity with the universities. A single examination will allow candidates to reach a broader audience and participate effectively.

CUT OFF BASED ON CUET PG SCORECARD

After taking the CUET exam, you typically apply separately to the universities or institutions you have selected. Although CUET is a common entrance test, it serves as a standardized assessment for multiple universities and institutions. Once you obtain your CUET scores, you must check the specific admission procedures and requirements of the universities you are interested in.

Here’s what you generally do:

  1. Visit the official websites of the universities you are interested in and carefully read through their admission procedures and requirements.
  2. Complete the respective application forms of each university after understanding their admission requirements. This usually involves providing personal information, academic records, test scores (such as CUET), essays, recommendation letters, and other necessary documents.
  3. Submit your applications to the universities within their specified deadlines, as many universities offer online application portals for convenience.
  4. Monitor your email and online application portals for any updates or requests for additional information from the universities, and respond promptly to any communication.
  5. Review the admission offers carefully, including any deadlines for accepting or declining offers, and follow the instructions provided by the universities.
