WCL or Western Coalfields is one of the eight Subsidiary companies of CIL or Coal India Limited which is under Ministry of Coal. Its total production is 57.64.15 MT during 2019-20 and 39.73 MT during 2013-2014.
This job notification seeks 135 mining sirdar and surveyor.
A mining sirdar helps overman, colliery in supervision drilling, blasting, timbering, etc. by assisting. A surveyor is required to accurately measure areas and volumes mined, also the sure expression of the surface and underground situation.
Qulification:
For mining sirdar(T & S Grade C): 10th pass with mining certificate of competency issued by DGMS or Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying; verman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS; Valid Gas Testing Certificate issued by DGMS; Valid First Aid Certificate.
For surveyor(T & S Grade B): Matriculation and Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS or Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying and Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
Age Limit: 18-30 years.
Selection: On the basis of written exam.
